About BibleAlong
A quieter way to read Scripture and ask honest questions
BibleAlong is a Bible-reading and study companion. We create tools and guides that help people slow down, examine a passage in context, and reflect without pretending they already understand everything.
WHY BIBLEALONG EXISTS
Built with love for people searching for God.
A private, judgment-free place to read Scripture, ask honest questions, and keep seeking God.
Our Story
What BibleAlong does
Makes Scripture available in a focused reading experience.
Helps readers ask questions about words, verses, and passages.
Publishes practical guides for Bible study, prayer, and faith questions.
Supports private reflection at a pace chosen by the reader.
How our guides are prepared
Our editorial aim is usefulness, context, and honesty—not page volume. These principles guide new material and revisions:
Begin with a real reader question
Each guide should solve a specific study problem or answer a question someone can genuinely carry into Scripture.
Read the passage in context
We prioritize the surrounding paragraph, chapter, speaker, audience, and literary setting over isolated proof texts.
Separate meaning from response
Guides distinguish what the passage says, what it means in context, and how a reader might respond without presenting one application as the only possible one.
State limits and next steps
We avoid promises the passage does not make, identify when outside help is appropriate, and give readers a practical way to continue studying.
Revise or remove weak material
Pages that are repetitive, unclear, inaccurate, or insufficiently useful should be improved, consolidated, or removed rather than kept only to attract visits.
How BibleAlong uses AI
BibleAlong uses AI to support passage explanations and may use it to help organize or draft website material. AI can be useful for surfacing questions and structuring information, but it can also be incomplete or wrong.
Readers should compare any explanation with the passage itself, its wider context, trusted reference works, and wise human counsel. BibleAlong does not present an AI response as divine revelation or as a replacement for a pastor, teacher, church community, or qualified professional.
What BibleAlong is not
- A church, denomination, pastor, or theological authority
- A substitute for professional medical or mental-health care
- An emergency, crisis, or safeguarding service
- A promise that every interpretation or AI answer is correct
