Introduction
BibleAlong provides Bible reading, Bible Q&A, GraceLens, Inneroom, spiritual reflection, and subscription features. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to users.
Information Users Provide
Users may provide information when they create an account, sign in, subscribe to a paid plan, contact support, complete feedback surveys, ask Bible questions, use GraceLens, write reflections, or participate in Inneroom conversations.
This information may include name, email address, profile details, selected Bible passages, questions, reflections, chat messages, feedback survey responses, and support requests.
Account and Login Data
If you sign in with Google or another supported authentication provider, BibleAlong may receive account information such as your email address, name, profile image, and provider user identifier. We use this information to provide account access and keep your experience connected to your account.
Bible Q&A, Reflection, GraceLens, and Inneroom Content
When you use Bible Q&A, GraceLens, Inneroom, or reflection features, BibleAlong may process the text you submit, the selected Scripture context, generated responses, and related interaction data. This helps us provide answers, maintain conversation context, improve product quality, and support account features.
Users should avoid submitting highly sensitive personal, confidential, medical, legal, financial, emergency, or crisis information into BibleAlong.
Payments and Billing
Payment and billing information is handled by third-party payment providers. BibleAlong does not directly store full credit card numbers or payment credentials. We may receive limited payment status information needed to activate subscriptions, manage access, and provide support.
Cookies, Logs, and Analytics
BibleAlong may use essential cookies, local storage, service logs, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, protect the service, understand feature usage, and improve performance. We may also use privacy-conscious analytics or service-related logs to understand how BibleAlong is used.
AI Processing
BibleAlong's Bible Q&A, GraceLens, Inneroom, and reflection features are powered by AI language model technology, currently using DeepSeek API. User-submitted text and related Scripture context may be sent to our configured AI provider to generate responses.
AI-generated responses may be incomplete or inaccurate. Users should compare important answers with Scripture, trusted Christian resources, mature spiritual guidance, and appropriate professional support when needed.
Third-Party Services
BibleAlong may use third-party services for authentication, hosting, database storage, payment processing, AI/API processing, feedback forms, email or support communication, security, and analytics. These providers process information only as needed to operate and improve BibleAlong.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide BibleAlong, maintain accounts, operate subscriptions, respond to support requests, protect the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve the product.
User Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict certain personal information. You can contact us for privacy questions or account-related requests.
Children's Privacy
BibleAlong is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should use care when deciding what to share.
Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy as BibleAlong changes. Continued use of BibleAlong after a revision means the revised policy applies.
