By accessing or using BibleAlong, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use BibleAlong.

Description of BibleAlong

BibleAlong provides Scripture reading, Bible Q&A, GraceLens, Inneroom, spiritual reflection tools, and AI-supported faith resources. BibleAlong is designed to help users read Scripture, ask honest questions, reflect with care, and grow at their own pace.

AI Technology and Response Disclaimer

BibleAlong's Bible Q&A, GraceLens, Inneroom, and reflection features are powered by AI language model technology, currently using DeepSeek API.

AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your personal situation. Users should compare answers with Scripture, trusted Christian resources, mature spiritual guidance, and appropriate professional support when needed.

Not a Replacement for Care or Community

BibleAlong does not replace pastors, churches, healthy Christian community, licensed counselors, doctors, lawyers, emergency services, crisis support, pastoral care, therapy, medical care, legal advice, or professional counseling. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, contact local emergency services or a trusted person near you.

User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for how they use BibleAlong, what they choose to share, and how they apply any response. Users should not submit unlawful, abusive, confidential, emergency, or highly sensitive information into BibleAlong.

Account and Login

Certain features may require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity that occurs under your account.

One-Time Support Payments

BibleAlong may allow users to make voluntary one-time support payments to help support the operation, development, infrastructure, and continued availability of the service. Users may select a suggested support amount or enter a custom amount, subject to any minimum or maximum amounts shown at checkout.

Support payments are one-time payments. They do not create a subscription, recurring billing arrangement, membership, or automatic renewal. The amount and currency will be displayed before the user completes payment.

Payments may be processed by an authorized third-party payment provider or merchant of record. Additional payment-processing terms may apply.

Refund Policy

BibleAlong does not offer recurring subscriptions that require cancellation. Completed one-time support payments are generally non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

If you believe a payment was duplicated, unauthorized, or otherwise made in error, contact BibleAlong at support@biblealong.org. Refund requests may be reviewed and processed by the authorized payment provider or merchant of record that handled the payment.

Acceptable Use and Enforcement

You may not use BibleAlong to:

• access BibleAlong, another person's account, an API, a server, or other infrastructure without authorization;
• interfere with, attack, overload, disrupt, or damage the service;
• engage in malicious scraping, probing, automated abuse, or similar activity;
• bypass access restrictions, security controls, rate limits, or other technical protections;
• engage in fraud, impersonation, unlawful conduct, or malicious activity;
• infringe another person's intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights; or
• use BibleAlong in a way that may harm users, BibleAlong, or any third party.

If BibleAlong reasonably determines that a user has violated these Terms, abused the service, created a security risk, or engaged in unlawful activity, BibleAlong may issue a warning, restrict particular features, temporarily suspend access, terminate an account or access to the service, block malicious requests, devices, or network traffic, and, where appropriate, deny future access.

BibleAlong may preserve records reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance and may respond to lawful requests from government, regulatory, or judicial authorities when legally required. Restrictions or suspensions may take effect immediately when reasonably necessary to protect users, maintain the security or integrity of the service, or comply with applicable law.

Intellectual Property

BibleAlong's software, design, brand, and original content are owned by BibleAlong or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, or distribute protected materials except as permitted by law or with written permission.

Third-Party Services

BibleAlong may rely on third-party services for authentication, hosting, database storage, payment processing, AI/API processing, feedback forms, analytics, and support. Your use of BibleAlong may also be subject to those providers' terms and policies.

Limitation of Liability

BibleAlong is provided as a Bible study and reflection aid. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BibleAlong is provided without warranties of any kind, and BibleAlong is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

Changes to the Service or Terms

BibleAlong may change features, support options, or these Terms as the service develops. Continued use of BibleAlong after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law unless a different rule is required by your location.
