Courage is not the absence of fear
Biblical courage often means taking a faithful step while fear is still present. You do not have to wait until your body feels calm before asking for help, setting a boundary, or doing what is right.
Fear can also be useful information. Pay attention when it signals real danger.
A prayer in fear
God, I am afraid of what may happen. Give me clear judgment, wise support, and enough courage for the next step. Stay near when my body and mind feel overwhelmed.
