A prayer
Jesus, the noise around me and within me feels strong. Teach me to receive the peace you give without using it to avoid truth. Settle what is reactive in me and make me attentive to what love requires.
Where I need to speak, give me gentleness and courage. Where I need to wait, give me patience. Where I need a boundary, give me clarity. Keep me from spreading fear, and make me a person who carries your peace into the next conversation. Amen.
